Official Statement Regarding the Closure of LuaSwap's Products and Website

LuaSwap was originally launched as a community-driven project to support the TomoChain ecosystem. [https://medium.com/luaswap/introducing-luaswap-org-7e6ff38beefc] The project was funded by TomoChain Lab Pte. Ltd., a registered entity based in Singapore. LuaSwap ceased all product operations and website services on March 31, 2024 due to the lack of sufficient funding and changes in the project's strategic direction and mission.

LuaSwap did not raise funds from external investors, nor did it conduct any Initial Coin Offering (ICO), Initial DEX Offering (IDO), or any other form of token sale. All Lua tokens (LUA) were distributed for free through airdrops to incentivize the use of LuaSwap's products and services. Following the project's closure, Lua tokens are no longer supported by LuaSwap or TomoChain Lab. All LUA tokens currently in circulation were acquired and exchanged solely by users who received them through the aforementioned free distributions. LuaSwap never sold Lua tokens, nor did it exercise any control or responsibility over the token's secondary market price. All liquidity pools, swaps, and other on-chain activities associated with LuaSwap were user-contributed in a peer-to-peer manner, facilitated by decentralized smart contracts. The LuaSwap team does not have access to, nor the ability to alter, any user assets or smart contract parameters deployed on the blockchain. Consequently, the project bears no responsibility for the liquidity or market value of any token, including LUA token.

As of March 31, 2024, all matters related to the LUA token are no longer under the responsibility or management of either LuaSwap or TomoChain Lab Pte. Ltd. LuaSwap's source code is open-source and remains publicly accessible for community review and reuse. The official code repositories are available on GitHub https://github.com/luaswap/luaswap-core. The Cha.finance project is not affiliated with LuaSwap or TomoChain Lab in any capacity. Any Lua‒Cha token swaps are conducted solely at the discretion and risk of individual users.
